Salt Lake City Airport Transportation

In Salt Lake City there are established maximum rates for ground transportation, these are divided by two areas/zones:

- Zone 1: Salt Lake City west of and including 500 East. From 1 to 2 passengers: $25 (max.)

- Zone 2: Salt Lake City east of 500 East. From 1 to 2 passengers: $30 (max.) Each additional passenger: $5 (max.)

 

Light Rail - UTA TRAX

- Terminal 1 - Route 704 (Green Line): runs to North Temple Bridge, Temple Square Station and City Center Station. It links with Route 701 (Blue Line (Draper)), Route 703 (Red Line (South Jordan and the University of Utah)) and Route 750 (FrontRunner (Ogden and Provo)).

Service operates from 5.40 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. every 15 minutes on weekdays.

During weekends, it operates from 6:30 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. every 20 minutes.

 

Bus

- Line 551: From Terminal 1, bus runs to the west side of Salt Lake City. Service is limited during weekends.

- Line 453: From Terminal 1, bus runs to Tooele, Utah.Service is limited during weekends.

- Line 454: From Terminal 1, bus runs to Grantsville, Utah. During weekends there is just one morning and evening service.

 

Bus Express

There is a bus express service that runs from Salt Lake to Las Vegas, Boise, Logan, West Yellowstone and Great Falls. The service operates every day from both terminals:

- Terminal 1: Door5

- Terminal 2: Door11

 

Hotel Shuttles

Hotel shuttles are available from both terminals, 1 and 2. To request the service, passengers can get in contact with the direct-line hotel phone banks at the baggage claim areas in both terminals. More information is available at the airport information desks.

 

Shared transportation

At Salt Lake airport, passengers have the possibility to share a ride service. Uber and Lyft services are allowed to operate and aren’t subject to the maximum fare regulated.

 

Shuttles

At the airport there are different shuttle agencies that provide service. Passengers can use this companies or can choose another one by their own.

To pick up a shuttle passengers may go to the baggage claim area of both terminals, 1 and 2.
